Months after their messy separation, Dancer Korra Obidi and her estranged husband, Justin Dean, are back in the news.

The Nigerian dancer during a recent visit told her ex-husband not to speak with her as that would amount to a violation of the law.

In a brief video of the visit which surfaced online and shared by Instablog9ja, the dancer was seen capturing moments she reunited with her daughter.

The ‘twerk queen’ as she’s fondly called tightly hugged her daughter as she whispers “I missed you so much”.

Subsequent clips in the video showed Korra Obidi making several faces as Justin Dean speaks in the background.

Unimpressed by his words, Korra Obidi then responds by saying, “You’re not supposed to be talking to me, you’re breaking the law”.

Recall that the couple got married in December 2017 after meeting on a popular dating app, Tinder.

At the time, Korra Odidi taught language through dance in Shanghai, while Justin was a sports therapist with the Chinese Olympic team.

Korra rose to fame in 2019 when she became the first pregnant woman to audition at the popular reality dance show, “So You Think You Can Dance”.

As a couple, they welcomed their first child in July 2019.

News of disaffection however emerged in March 2022, barely a week after they welcomed their second child when Justin revealed he was filing for divorce.

According to him, “I’ve been trying to save our marriage since 2018.”

Justin accused Korra of cheating and lacking accountability. He also blamed social media and Kora’s obsession with fame as responsible for the strain in the marriage.

He said, “I’m tired of the narcissism, cheating and lack of accountability. I’ve been trying since 2018 to save our marriage and if I don’t do exactly what she says, she divorces me.

“I’ve been a prisoner that has his family used against him if she doesn’t get exactly what she wants.

“Korra Obidi and I are getting a divorce. It’s over, I wouldn’t be treated this way longer. I did my absolute best to make it work.

“I didn’t want this, I did my best. My heart is broken. I loved her. I supported her. I don’t deserve the way I was treated.”

Korra on her part said, ” I am going to be 100 per cent committed to taking care of my newborn because when mama is good, the baby is good.”
