World of Warcraft consistently updates and rebalances allowing for players to come to count on the team at Blizzard.
It’s always nice when an MMO pushes a hotfix. It means that a bug that’s been causing issues for players will hopefully be gone creating a better user experience for everyone playing.
Blizzard knows this, so they pushed a patch today for WOW.
Here’s everything you need to know about the WOW patch notes for today, April 13.

WOW Patch Notes April 13
Because the update is a hotfix, there isn’t anything totally game-changing hiding in the patch notes. That said, there are still some important bug fixes that will hopefully provide even more stability to the game. Here’s the full list of WOW patch notes for April 13:
Achievements
- Three new Achievements have been added for upgrading all four of your Covenant Sanctum features to tiers 1, 2, and 3.
Items and Rewards
- Anima rewards now scale upward when you earn each new Achievement for unlocking a tier on all four of the features in your Covenant Sanctum.
Player versus Player
- Rogue
- Subtlety
- [With regional restarts] Dagger in the Dark (PvP Talent) now increases Shadowstrike damage by 5% per stack (was 10%) and affects targets within 12 yards (was 20 yards).
- Subtlety
Quests
- The captives for the “Fortunate Souls” Nazjatar quest will once again be following behind their captors.
WOW Shadowlands Expansion
The WOW Shadowlands expansion was rolled out last year and has been giving fans plenty of new areas to explore and questlines to follow.
