Without incident

Police arrived Tuesday at the Comfort Inn to take Skyler M. Stuber, 24, of Butte into custody.

Stuber had two outstanding felony warrants out for her arrest out of Anaconda-Deer Lodge County. She also had a local warrant for failure to appear in court. She was booked without further incident.

Multiple warrants

On Monday, police saw Cory H. Atkins, 45, of Butte at the Town Pump, 1370 Harrison Ave.

Atkins had multiple active warrants out for his arrest and was transported to the Butte Detention Center.

DUI arrest

Just after 4:30 p.m. Monday, Paul A. McClary, 43, of Divide was found sleeping in his car at the intersection of Larkspur Lane and Meadowview Drive.

The vehicle was still in drive when an officer unsuccessfully tried to wake him. An ambulance was called, but McClary managed to wake up before assistance arrived. According to police records, he smelled like he had been consuming alcoholic beverages and was arrested for driving under the influence (fourth or subsequent offense).

Aggravated DUI charge

Derek F. Reed, 41, of Butte was arrested early Thursday for aggravated driving under the influence (second offense). He reportedly fell asleep at the wheel in the parking lot of the Magic Diamond Casino, 2721 Harrison Ave.

When officers arrived, Reed allegedly smelled of alcohol and appeared to be intoxicated. At the Butte Detention Center, he failed sobriety maneuvers and a Breathalyzer showed he was twice over the legal limit.

Friday arrests

Early Friday morning, officers were dispatched to the Leonard Apartments, 205 W. Granite St., to investigate a disturbance. Larry G. Hudson, 45, of Butte was reportedly yelling inside an apartment and was accused of threatening another man with a knife. He was arrested for assault with a weapon.

Also arrested around that time was Riley D. Weaver, 24, of Butte, who had warrants out for his arrest for partner or family member assault, tampering with a communication device and criminal mischief.

Seen on patrol

On Thursday, an officer out on patrol witnessed a man removing a tire from a rim near the intersection of George Street and Kaw Avenue. When the officer stopped to talk to him, Jaime L. Gomez, 41, of Butte refused to identify himself.

Once the officer determined who Gomez was, it was learned he had a criminal contempt warrant out for his arrest and was also jailed for obstructing a peace officer.

Trying to hide

While driving in the 100 block of Platinum Street, an officer noticed a man who appeared to be trying to hide from him. Assistance was called and another officer was able to identify the man who was trying to remain unseen as Christian J. Jarvis, 41, of Butte.

Jarvis was taken into custody on a local warrant and several Montana Highway Patrol warrants.

Women assaulted

  • Thomas G. Park, 20, of Butte allegedly assaulted a woman early Friday in the 1500 block of Schley Street. He was taken into custody for partner or family member assault.
  • A woman came to the police station Thursday to report she had just been assaulted at another location by Anthony L. Seccomb, 23, of Butte. The woman told police Seccomb had grabbed her by the back of the neck, pushed her down the stairs and continued to threaten her. Cops located Seccomb, who was arrested for partner or family member assault (second offense).

Getting his stuff

An officer responded to an area near the landfill Thursday where Michael T. Pray-Davis, 36, of Butte had reportedly just broken into a yard filled with abandoned vehicles.

Pray-Davis, who allegedly damaged a fence, told the officer that he was trying to get some of his stuff out of a recreational vehicle. He was jailed for criminal trespass to property and criminal mischief.
