Wilfried Mbappé was born on October 11, 1970, in Douala, Cameroon. He had his primary and secondary school education at a local elementary school in Cameroon. He completed his college education in Paris, the French capital, and obtained a certificate in Physical Education.
Mbappé relocated permanently to France and settled in Bondy, a suburb of Paris. He got married and is currently the father of three boys: Kylian and Ethan Mbappé, and an adopted son, Jires Kombo Ekoko.

Wilfried Mbappé career
Wilfried Mbappé began his career as a professional footballer. Following his dreams to become a footballer, he moved from Cameroon to France and played for teams in the country’s regional leagues. He was, however, unable to play for some of the biggest teams in France.
Mbappé did not let this setback affect him. He settled in Bondy and it was in this Paris suburb that he stepped into the managerial aspect of football. He worked as a coach and became a popular name in the town, as he worked with talented children to enable them to improve and develop their skills. He joined AS Bondy, one of the famous clubs in the town.
The football coach worked for AS Bondy for 25 years and served in various positions. After working as a coach, he served as the sporting director for the under-10s to under-17s age group. With his ability to spot potential talent, he has coached famous players like Arsenal’s defender William Saliba and Fiorentina’s forward Jonathan Ikone among others.
After he left AS Bondy, Mbappé then became a football agent. He was the agent of Kylian Mbappé, his first son, early in his career. He dedicated his time to the football development of his son. He managed Kylian Mbappé’s love for football at a young age and transformed it into professional development at Bondy at a young age. His training of his son and his registration of him as AS Bondy is being referred to as “project Mbappe” across the world today.
Therefore, it comes as no surprise that Kylian Mbappé has broken a lot of records in the sports world and he is just getting started. His latest achievement that had fans all over the world screaming for joy was when he set the record for the most goals scored at the World Cup final and won the Golden Boot and Silver Ball for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

He plays as a midfielder for Paris Saint-Germain.
