Victoria Azarenka is a Belarusian professional tennis player. She was born on July 31, 1989, in Minsk, Soviet Union to parents Alla & Fyodor Azarenka. At age 15, she moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, United States, from Minsk, Belarus, to train, live and get better opportunities.
In 2004 Wimbledon, Victoria Azarenka reached the semi-final of the girls’ singles event and won the Girls’ Doubles event alongside compatriot Olga Govortsova. Next year, she lifted the Australian Open and the US Open title. The Belarusian tennis player won her first Major WTA title in 2012, which was the Australian Open by defeating Russian ace Maria Sharapova in straight sets.
Following her triumph in 2012, Azarenka denied Li Na’s Chinese heroics to defend her title in 2013. She also won a gold medal in the 2012 London Olympics in mixed doubles representing Belarus.

In the initial months of 2017, It was reported that Azarenka had won an early stage of the US custody proceedings, and her son Leo, is currently living with her.
