Who is Sexyy Red? Drake posts photo while cozying up with rapper in nightclub, calls her 'my rightful wife'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Drake has fuelled romance rumors after posting a photo, in which he was seen kissing rapper Sexyy Red, to Instagram. The 36-year-old hitmaker, who was seen with an unidentified woman, was photographed kissing the red-haired bombshell's cheek while hanging out in a nightclub.
Drake kept an arm on her while taking the picture as they were seated close to one another on a couch. The 'Way 2 Sexy' hitmaker captioned the picture, "Just met my rightful wife," and he made sure to tag 25-year-old Red from St Louis. However, it was unclear if the duo were dating or if they were working on a project together.

Who is Sexyy Red?
Red, whose real name Janae Anand Nierah Wherry, is 25 years old and hails from St Louis, Missouri. She became well-known after collaborating with producer Tay Keith to release the song 'Pound Town' in January. Nicki Minaj then remixed the song. When her lover cheated on her, Red began rapping and decided to make a song about it. She chose the stage name Sexyy Red because she thought she was sexy and since Red was her middle school nickname. According to her, rappers such as Project Pat, Juicy J and Gucci Mane were some of her musical influences. She called her music "ratchet" and "bad," as per COMPLEX.
Fans believed that Drake may have shared the post to hint at a future joint project. Whether he was dating Red or not, Drake was observed on Monday night, July 17, having a good time with a mystery woman.
Drake's dating history made headlines earlier as well. The 'Wants and Needs' hitmaker disclosed that he was dating "four or five women" right now in an interview with Howard Stern and that he may see himself getting married in the future. Chantel Everett, the star of 'The Family Chantel', was allegedly being courted by Drake, but she was not ready to commit at the time. He was later linked to poetess Lilah Pi after he called her his "heart" on her birthday and shared her photo on Instagram.

Fans responded variously to Drake's post about Sexyy Red. "Drake is in his mid 30’s rich & successful as can be but still immature about relationships," tweeted one fan.
