NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA: Lil Wayne has reportedly demanded his ex-assistant Andrew Williams to undergo an independent medical examination who has accused the rapper of allegedly assaulting him on a private jet.

As part of the medical examination, a doctor will be evaluating Williams' injuries months after he alleged the artist whose real name is Dwayne Carter punched him in the jaw, reported Radar Online.

Andrew Williams agreed to Lil Wayne's request

Williams claimed the incident on a private jet allegedly caused him injuries to his well-being and emotional distress, according to the court filings obtained by the outlet.

He reportedly agreed to Wayne's request for a medical examination where a doctor selected by the rapper would grill him in a clinician interview about injuries.

In 2022, Williams sued the 'Screwed Up' singer for alleged intentional infliction of emotional distress, battery and assault.

Signature Flight Support and Young Money Entertainment are the other defendants in the lawsuit filed by Williams.

Williams claimed in his legal filing that he was flying with the rapper on June 10, 2022.

He alleged that Wayne began arguing with the pilot and Williams tried to intervene in the argument by putting his arms between the musician and the pilot.

However, Wayne was infuriated by this and allegedly punched him. "The combination of a closed fist and the numerous rings and large jewelry on the hands of [Wayne] caused great harm to [Williams]," read the lawsuit.

Williams then left the plane and sought medical attention at a hospital.

Andrew Williams claimed Lil Wayne terminated him via mail

The former assistant stated that following the incident, he received an email from the Grammy award winner's camp that did not mention the alleged assault but demanded he return a Bluetooth speaker and a backpack.

Williams added that the email mentioned that he was terminated.

In the lawsuit, he demanded Wayne help him pay the medical expenses and required unspecified damages for his alleged physical and emotional suffering.

"Lil Wayne was willful and malicious and was intended to oppress and cause injury to [Williams]. [Williams] is therefore entitled to an award of punitive damages," read the lawsuit.

However, the rapper has vehemently denied any allegations of wrongdoing and his legal team demanded the lawsuit be dismissed from the court.

The lawyers argued Wayne acted in self-defense and the assistant had not sustained any injuries as a result of Wayne's actions.

The rapper who denied his former assistant was wrongfully terminated saying the dismissal was entirely appropriate also accused Williams of failing to "exercise reasonable care and diligence" to prevent any alleged damages.
