It’s yet to be seen how satisfying the commercial performance of the movie will turn out to be for Warner Bros., but all fans care about is to enjoy the entire movie and get a sequel for the characters who survive.

Now, narrowing the topic to what we want to discuss here, The Suicide Squad has had a great shooting set, and since the premiere started, many fans are searching about the actual location that themovie was filmed in.

Where Was The Suicide Squad Filmed?

The Suicide Squad was filmed at Pinewood Atlanta Studios in Atlanta, Georgia. According to James Gunn, the director, The Suicide Squad had the biggest filming set built for a WB movie ever.

The Jotunheim prison and its surroundings were as big as three football fields. The team also created a warehouse-sized forest with a Bamboo cage that was over 2 meters deep.

The second part of The Suicide Squad, the island scene, was filmed in Panama. It took the production team four months to wrap up filming in both locations.

The overall budget for The Suicide Squad was over $180 million, and Warner Bros. hopes the movie to turn into profit and bring back its production costs as well as a satisfying amount of profit for the company.

At the end of the day, it is the movie’s commercial performance that would be the main factor for considering a sequel.
