This year, Fortnite has a minimal and simple in-game new year celebration, which went live a few hours earlier, and you will reappear on each server once every hour.

Based on your region, you can spot the in-game celebration of the new year in Fortnite every hour on the hour, every hour on the half-hour.

Once it’s live on your server, you will spot a giant dancing light floating in the air, and then a 2022 firework appears in the sky.

While you’re watching it and probably dancing inside the game, watch out for opponents as might get killed just in between your celebration!

Fortnite is now available for free on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch, Android, and PC. The game is still unavailable on iOS devices as the lawsuit against Apple didn’t reach a favorable result for Epic Games in the end.
