Its been over a year since Warzone was launched, and it has been an amazing few months for the game. It has grown exponentially in that period and seems to continue that trend in the upcoming days. We have a map releasing for the game in a few weeks, and the Vanguard integration following up as well.
In the wake of the release of a new map, the developers have decided to give fans a reminiscence of everything that happened on the beloved map.
What is Operation Flashback Mode in Warzone?
While the mode has been announced a while back, the developers have not exactly revealed what it comprises. Here is what the description states.
The city and its surrounding area hosted over 100 million players for the past 18 months, and plenty has changed since March 10, 2020. From blasting back to the year 1984 to hosting ’80s Action Heroes and Hauntings, Verdansk proved to be the place to drop in again and again.
To celebrate – and bring back –these classic moments and many more, lead developer Raven Software created a special “Operation: Flashback” limited-time mode, featuring plenty of surprises that cover Verdansk’s action-packed history.
Ready for your last dance in Verdansk?
As can be seen above, the new game mode will basically give players a walk down memory lane. There are some interesting rewards up for grabs as well, with players getting an Emblem for participating in the event and an animated calling card for winning. With the update dropping soon, players should learn more about it in the next few hours.
