Wearing 2 gloves in the wet?

I've got a pair of these, they are similar to Macwets
I'm not really a fan. It feels weird wearing 2 gloves especially as they have a padded ridge in the palm. They do allow you to grip in the wet but you run the risk of hypothermia as they make your hands really cold !! It has to be pouring down before I put them on.
Also got one of these, a Hirzl Trust Control Kangaroo Leather Golf Glove
it's pretty good in the dry/wet and has lasted ages
(serious question) have you (or anyone else) tried marigolds ?
