The lore of the Rogue Traders makes them the perfect character for players to be, as they will be faced with all sorts of choices that affect their conviction and those around them. One of the earlier decisions of the game will revolve around the defective Servictors aboard your voidship.

How To Handle The Defective Servitors

High Factotum Janris Danrok On The Voidship


During the first chapter of the game, players will be told about some defective Servitors aboard their Voidship. While this sort of situation is often beneath a Rogue Trader, players are able to handle this errand by talking to the High Factotum Janris Danrok and telling him, "I wish to see these servitors before deciding their fate." This will begin a storybook section with players deciding what their character did to the Servitors.

The following choices will affect your character's conviction and won't have a major effect on the game beyond that. Choosing the examine to Servitors closer will give players access to the Heretical option, while the Iconoclast and Dogmatic options will be presented after the first few unimportant dialogue options are made. There is no right or wrong decision here, as no one beyond Pascal in your party will comment on your decision.

Handling these defective Servitors is one of the many errands players will find during their journey. Errands are usually very quick, such as this one, and will offer additional situations to affect the conviction of your character. There are only so many conviction points to be found in the game, making it important to complete errands to find those that give conviction points should players want to max out a conviction.
