VFL Dollander selected to MLB All-Star Futures Game

(WJHL) – Former Tennessee Vol ace, Chase Dollander, will take his talents to Arlington, Texas for MLB All-Star Weekend.
The No. 9 overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft made the cut for the National League’s MLB All-Star Futures Game roster on Tuesday.
Cross named 2024 MLB Futures All-Star
The right-hander has spent his entire 2024 season with the Colorado Rockies High-A affiliate, the Spokane Indians. In 12 starts, he is 3-1 with a 3.05 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP. Dollander has fanned 92 batter in just 62.0 innings of work, as well.
The 2024 MLB All-Star Futures Game is set for Saturday, July 13 at 4:05 p.m. ET.
