Slaves to Fashion: Let's talk clothes. How would you describe your own personal style?Mario Lopez: I'm kind of in the Simon Cowell school of dressing: I always wear the same thing, t-shirts and jeans all the time. It's the beauty of living in sunny L.A.
STF: What labels are you loving these days?
__ML:__My favorite t-shirts right now are LNA. They're really thin and comfortable. On the show [Extra!] I wear lots of suits like John Varvatos and Hugo Boss. I'm pretty conservative but I like a little throw-back kind of a look. Not with a fedora or anything though.
STF: How are you feeling about all these 80s and 90s styles that are coming back this season?
ML: I thought 80s were already back? I'm okay with it. I was a big fan of the Members Only jackets. I was glad to hear that they were coming back. I used to have them in a bunch of different colors. In black, burgundy, off-white cream one.
STF: Do you still have them?
ML: No, I wish I did, then I would rock em.
STF: What about other old school styles? Say, for instance those baggy Hammer pants you used to wear?
__ML:__I remember the Cavariccis were big both on and off camera. I remember we used to do this stupid little fold at the end of the pant.
STF: You mean the French Cuff?
__ML:__Yeah, the French cuff. I can't believe we ever did that. Top-Siders and Vans were big then too. We used to wear them without socks. You had to put baby powder in them all the time otherwise your feet got stinky. sweaters were big, like Bill Cosby's colorful sweaters.
STF: Did you have any say on Slater's wardrobe?
