TAMPA, Florida—There's just something about Chinese food many Americans love. So 10 News wanted to find the cleanest Chinese restaurants in all of Tampa Bay.

Over the past week 10 News pored through thousands of inspection reports, picking out 25 of the best we could find based on each restaurant's average number of health code violations.

Among those making the grade was Asiana Bistro on Oakfield Drive in Brandon. The restaurant's website promises a "clean friendly atmosphere" and that's certainly what we found.

"I keep it clean. I clean every night," said owner Peter Lertpanad.

Inside the kitchen we spotted soap and paper towels stocked at the employee hand sinks along with spotless floors, counter the refrigerators everything is spotless.

The restaurant hasn't had a single high priority violation on either of their two inspections so far this year.

Chin Chinese Take-Out is located on Florida Avenue in Lakeland. The restaurant is perhaps one of the city's best kept secrets with excellent health inspections.

"That does not surprise me what so ever," said customer Tanner Zamora. "Their food is very clean. And I can vouch for that. It's fresh."

But owners aren't looking for the attention. They told us their small Chinese restaurant is so busy already they can hardly keep up.

"I sometimes wait 30 or 40 minutes for my food," confirmed Zamora.

Next up, China Gourmet on Suncoast Boulevard in Homosassa. The restaurant ranks in our top 10 for the fewest violations.

"That's most important for the restaurant … cleaning," said Tomg Ling.

For our next stop we headed south to Sarasota and Jade Garden on Bee Ridge Road. This restaurant ranked 7th best.

"Thank you very much for telling me like that," said owner Kim Kha. "I'm happy to hear that!"

Kha was happy to take us on a tour where we found a super clean kitchen. She hopes the excellent inspections draw in new customers. "I hope they like the food, too."

To Hillsborough where Wok Chi on Brandon Boulevard across from the Westfield Brandon Mall ranks #4. The Canadian-based company with its U.S. office in Lakewood Ranch, has major plans for expansion across the county.

"It gives me great pride that it has been recognized as such because we take great efforts to keep the restaurants clean," said Wok Chi VP of Operations Rahul Chaubal. The restaurant's open kitchen allows customers to watch as wok masters sear in their food's flavor.

"It gives them sense of comfort and well being that everything is fresh. Nothing is hidden and everything is hygienic and that's always a plus," said Chaubal.

In Bradenton Top China is near the top of our list at #2. Employees say the kitchen frequently gets a thorough cleaning.

"Two times every day," confirmed employee Emiry Lim.

Several Chinese chains made our list including P.F. Chang's on South Osprey Avenue, the most upscale restaurant on our list.

We found P.F. Chang's proudly displaying their near perfect inspection report right near the front door.

It's hard to say what's more impressive, their super clean dining room or the amazing meals.
