The Dark Knight Rises Trailer: Anne Hathaway's Catwoman Appears to Have Superpowers Other Than Jumpstarting Male Puberty!

Yeah, there are a million and a half cool things about the new Dark Knight Rises trailer. But Christian Bale, I will deal with you and your insane handsomeness later. Anne Hathaway is stealing this movie already.

I know our long love affair with Anne has come a long way since The Princess Diaries, but just for a refresher: remember the klutzy frizzball who put her on our radar?

It's seriously hard to believe that this is even the same person. Watch:

Masquerade domination? Check.

Fabulous low-pitched noir siren voice? Check. (If you hear me purring "I'm adaptable" in random situations from now on, guys, don't call me out on copying her. And I'll do the same for you. Let's all be cool mysterious ladies together.)

Anne's Catwoman feels especially redeeming since--like many of you, I'm guessing--I grew up during a golden age of Batman movies. (Did you forget that Clooney himself once manned the Batmobile?)
