I'm well aware I might get trolled for what I'm about to admit, but here's the thing: This top seller from Dr. Jart+ just didn't do it for me. Unlike some of the others on my roster, it left a subtle but still noticeable green tint on my skin rather than melting completely in. I also found it to be one of the more drying of the bunch, which I wasn't expecting, considering it contains hydrating ingredients like panthenol and glycerin. As for the pros, I appreciate that it has SPF 30, so I feel extra protected throughout the day, and it definitely feels weightless on your skin once it sinks in. Based on its laundry list of amazing reviews, I would say this one is worth giving a shot—especially if you struggle with acne, because countless customers say it's excellent at minimizing the appearance of blemishes without causing new breakouts.

After several fellow editor folks waxed poetic about this award-winning primer, I couldn't wait to test it out for myself. All I can say is "Wow!"—I was not expecting to love it so damn much, but I do. I really do! For starters, it blends out like a dream and doesn't leave any weird green residue behind or awkwardly caked up near your hairline. It also feels incredibly nourishing, despite not having any wildly hydrating ingredients, and adjusts beautifully to my natural skin tone, so it never looks like a different shade than my neck. (Looking like a floating head is easily one of my worst beauty nightmares.) SPF 25 is another plus, of course, as is its ultra-calming formula, which has a way of soothing my easily irritated skin while correcting redness .
