The summer Sixers will see plenty of action over the next couple of weeks.

The team released its roster on Friday for the Salt Lake City (July 5-7) and Las Vegas (July 7-17) summer leagues. It includes shooting guard Isaiah Joe, 2021 first-round pick Jaden Springer, draft-and-stash center Filip Petrušev, and young big men Charles Bassey and Paul Reed. The Sixers indicated Reed will only participate in Utah, Petrušev only in Las Vegas.

Sixers skill development coach Tyler Lashbrook will lead the Salt Lake City team and Dwayne Jones will coach the Las Vegas team. Fellow skill development coaches Jason Love and Spencer Rivers will be on the Sixers’ staff, too.

Sixers say Tyler Lashbrook will coach their Utah summer league team, Dwayne Jones their Vegas team.

Below is the Sixers’ schedule in Utah:

  • July 5: Sixers vs. Grizzlies, 7 p.m. ET (ESPN)
  • July 6: Sixers vs. Jazz, 9 p.m. ET (ESPN2)
  • July 7: Sixers vs. Thunder, 6 p.m. ET (NBA TV)

And here’s the team’s Las Vegas schedule:

  • July 9: Sixers vs. Raptors, 3:30 p.m. ET (NBA TV)
  • July 10: Sixers vs. Nets, 3:30 p.m. ET (NBA TV)
  • July 13: Sixers vs. Heat, 9 p.m. ET (ESPNU)
  • July 15: Sixers vs. Nuggets, 6 p.m. ET (NBA TV)

The roster also includes Trevelin Queen, an athletic wing who won G League MVP last year and agreed Thursday night to a partially guaranteed two-year contract with the Sixers.

Both of the team’s two-way contract players, Julian Champagnie and Charlie Brown Jr., are on the roster. So is combo guard Grant Riller, who spent the early part of last season on a two-way deal before being waived in December and undergoing shoulder surgery.

Forward Tyler Bey was technically a Sixer for a brief period on draft night in 2020. Sixers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey sent the 36th pick (Bey) and Josh Richardson to the Mavericks in exchange for Seth Curry. The Colorado product was a teammate of Queen’s last year on the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.

Nineteen-year-old Michael Foster Jr. posted 17 points and eight rebounds when G League Ignite visited the Delaware Blue Coats in January. The undrafted power forward was a five-star high school recruit and is a skilled scorer comfortable both facing up and posting up.
