Many people dream of having their parents’ support, and Paige Spiranac is certainly fortunate in that regard. With more than 3.5 million followers, the former American golfer is a queen online. She publishes instructional golf videos and has a podcast called “Playing about with Paige Renee” where she discusses golf in-depth and offers glimpses into her personal life.
But popularity has also brought its share of spooky experiences, some of which can be downright repulsive. One such event spiraled out of control. It goes without saying that you will get both positive and negative remarks when you are well-known online. Spiranac mentioned how someone has trolled her in her podcast while talking about the practice.
Paige Spiranac talks about creepy encounter with fan
Although Paige Spiranac hasn’t personally encountered any hateful remarks, she has received sexual ones. “I was signing all these signatures, and it was like, I dunno, like a 16-year-old child or something,” she recalled of one such instance. “I want her to sign this”, he said, pointing to his d**k. “And my father, who was standing directly next to him, turned to face him. Her last name is too long to sign, he added. I passed out laughing. That is such a nice retort, I thought.”
Paige Spiranac finds it offensive when people joke about trolling. It’s not always a joke and it might hurt you really bad. People approach her and make jokes about how she is being trolled. She described how people would frequently inquire about how her friends and family dealt with the offensive sexual remarks. Then, as if it were a joke, they used to laugh at it. Although it comes with being popular, she dislikes it. When someone touches her inappropriately, she becomes uncomfortable.
It’s time to retire the victim card. Neither of us ever put you down. My dad doesn’t even have a Twitter lol. I also never called Tiger a bad parent. Your entire tweet is a lie. Release our private DM’s and everyone will see our exact convo and why you blocked me. @PaigeSpiranac

The comments and trolling have always been sexually explicit. No one has ever come to Paige and expressed their hatred, according to Paige. It always has to do with her appearance or body. She appreciates the help from her family and friends. Although it is a necessary component of the job, it is never enjoyable. Thankfully, she is aware of bullying and trolling and she is aware of the proper actions to take. She is aware of how difficult receiving trolling may be, but she is thriving because of her fans.
