Ever since Ime Udoka was appointed as the Head Coach of Boston Celtics in April last year, the former Nigerian-American professional basketball player has turned the fate of the most celebrated team in the NBA. Having to be massively criticized for his tactics until the All-Star break, the Celtics were on the brinks of elimination. But the second half only showcased the on-court mastery of Udoka.
In the very first season of being in charge, Ime Udoka has managed to lead the Boston Celtics to their long-awaited Eastern Conference Finals against Miami Heat, that too as favorites. But who is behind the success of Udoka? None other than award winning actor Nia Long, who went onto showcase her support for her fiancée in game 4 of EC Finals at D Garden.
Ime Udoka’s heroics saved Celtics in Game 4 of EC Finals
The Boston Celtics were without their marquee star Marcus Smart in Game 4, but it was Ime Udoka whose basketball acumen went onto ensure the home team’s dominance over Heat. Be it with Robert Williams III guarding out Jimmy Butler, or Jaylen Brown managing to give extra space to Jayson Tatum.
However, with Celtics winning 102-82 in Game 4, they managed to equalize the EC Finals to 2-2. That being said, it was a star-studded outing at TD Garden, with not only Nia Long coming out to support her fiancée Ime Udoka, upon which the fans reacted.
But stars like Glen Davis, Malcolm Butter, Isiah Stewart, Cade Cunningham among others had all been caught witnessing the drama on the side-lines.
Take a look at how fans reacted to Long supporting Udoka-

I was an intern on Guiding Light in the 90s when she brought Chris Webber by the set one day. I said “Time out, she’s dating Chris Webber?” and none of the other interns or PAs got the joke bc theater kids don’t know sports and they didn’t know who C Web was.

Moreover, Damien Harris, himself a budding Celtics superfan, was among the Foxboro contingent, along with his backfield mate James White and defensive backs Devin McCourty and Malcolm Butler as well as McCourty’s twin brother, Jason, a former New Englander who’s currently a free agent.
That being said, with the EC Finals now being at 2-2, who among Celtics or Heat will take the advantage in this series by winning Game 5? Remains to be eagerly seen.
