Runway Trend Report: GOLD Wedding Dresses! Would You Wear a 14-Karat Gown?

Of course there were a bajillion white wedding dresses on the runways this season, and I've already shared a bunch of pink gowns {Thank you, Vera Wang! }. And, much to my delight, there were also lots and lots of GOLD wedding dresses. (I've been trying to make gold wedding dresses happen for ages!) Some were soft shades of gold, like the third dress below, some were white with gold accents, like number four. And others were full-on heavy metal, see the first two gowns.

Gold is so sophisticated—and so much more flattering than white, IMO. But will brides actually buy these dresses?
