Romy Hero Johnson, born in January 2012, is the second daughter of Aaron and Sam Taylor-Johnson. She has three elder siblings, Angelica, Jessie, and Wylda.

Johnson has, so far, shown her love for basketball. Her father once revealed during a James Corden Show how he became a coach at his daughter’s basketball team in school.

He said: “I didn’t intend to [coach]. It was one of those things where parents could volunteer, and I said, ‘Yeah, I’d love to.’ And they went, ‘Great, so you’re the coach.’ [I said], ‘No, I’ve never played basketball before.'”

Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Sam Taylor-Johnson have been happily married for over a decade, defying the odds and proving that love knows no boundaries.

Their remarkable journey began in 2008 when Aaron Taylor-Johnson auditioned for the lead role in Sam Taylor-Johnson’s directorial debut, Nowhere Boy. Despite a scheduling conflict, fate intervened when Aaron Taylor-Johnson auditioned for the lead role.

At the time, he was immersed in filming Kick-Ass, and the only available day for his audition did not align with Sam taylor-johnson’s busy schedule. However, the universe had other plans.

Speaking to The Telegraph, Sam said she knew Aaron was the right character the moment she saw him.

“I knew instantly — I could see how much research he’d done already just by the way he was standing and the few words he said,” she said.

In 2009, after they wrapped up filming Nowhere Boy, Aaron popped the question. He explained: “And a year to the minute after we met, exactly one year to the minute, I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me”, he explained.

Although Sam confirmed that the duo were in love while on set, but they were professional about it.

“We were very professional through the entire film. … But everyone on set knew. And as soon as we finished, he told me he was going to marry me. We had never been on a date, or even kissed,” she said.

In 2010, it was revealed by a spokesperson that the engaged couple was expecting their first child together.

“We can confirm that Sam is pregnant with her and Aaron’s first child. Both are very, very happy,” the spokesperson announced.

Although it was Aaron’s first child, it was not the same for Sam. She already has two daughters, Angelica and Jessie, from her previous marriage to Jay Jopling.

Solidifying their commitment to each other, Sam and Aaron exchanged heartfelt vows on June 21, 2012, in a picturesque ceremony held in Somerset, England. Unlike most celebrity couples who get married and still retain their names, Sam and Aaron combined their surnames into Taylor-Johnson after they tied the knot.

Speaking about the name change, Aaron said: “I just don’t see why women need to take the man’s name. I wanted to be a part of her just as much as she wanted to be part of me.”

While Sam and Aaron Taylor-Johnson have succeeded in building a beautiful home, the huge age gap between them was still a soft spot for them, thanks to the attention it garnered from fans. 

After winning a Golden Globe, in 2017, Aaron told Vulture “The attention was intrusive.

“But having to deal with that early in my career probably got me to a place where I can more quickly just go, ‘Oh, fuck it’, instead of wanting to rip someone’s head off for asking questions I don’t like.”
