Walmart owner Rob Walton has agreed to purchase the National Football League (NFL) team the Denver Broncos in a historic deal. Rob Walton has agreed to buy the Denver Broncos for a record deal of $4.65 billion.
Walton is one of the heirs of Walmart which was founded by his father Sam Walton. The deal is the highest in value for a North American sports team and finally puts to bed the confusion surrounding Denver Broncos ownership.

Rob Walton is the 18th richest man in the world and is worth $68 billion as of 2022 as per the latest evaluation of his wealth. He also has served as a Chairman for Walmart and is continuously in the list for richest people in the world.
He is a part of the Walton Family Holdings Trust and Walton Enterprises and through this Rob Walton owns 13 percent of Walmart. Since 1992, Rob Walton has made about $11 billion from stock sales and dividends.
Moreover Rob Walton owns a 25.5% share of Arvest Bank, which is the largest bank in Arkansas. To just illustrate on just how rich he is, we can take a look at his car collection which includes a 1965 Shelby Cobra which is worth about $820,000.
He also partakes in a bit of real estate and recently sold two plots together for $30.8 million in June 2022. He had bought them for $9.19 million in the year 2000 in Aspen,Colorado.
