After a long wait, The Suicide Squad is finally close to its official release on HBO Max. And if you’re eager to stream DCEU’s tenth film, here’s everything you should know about its release schedule.

Written and directed by James Gunn, The Suicide Squad features an incredible cast, including  Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, Sylvester Stallone, John Cena, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, and Peter Capaldi.

Of course, the upcoming film has some returning cast from 2016’s The Suicide Squad; however, it doesn’t relate to the previous movie. Meaning, The Suicide Squad is a standalone movie in every right.

The movie already had a theatrical release in the UK on July 30th, 2021, and got mostly positive reviews. Now, it’s almost time for the fans in the US to experience the brilliance of The Suicide Squad.

What Time Does The Suicide Squad Come out on HBO Max?

Warner Bros. confirmed that The Suicide Squad would be available in theaters (US) and on HBO Max on August 5th, 2021.

Initially, the studio planned on releasing the movie on August 6th; however, they decided to spice things up by giving us the film a day earlier.

As for timing, HBO Max will release the movie at 7 PM PDT (Pacific Timing).

Also, note that the film would remain on HBO Max for 31 days from its theatrical release. So, make sure you watch the movie before it gets removed from the platform.

Fortunately, you don’t need to spend any extra cash to stream the movie on the platform. The Ad-free HBO Max subscription ($15/month) would suffice to enjoy the film as many times as you want.

However, the movie won’t be available to watch if you have the normal ad-supported ($9.99/month) plan. So, you may have to upgrade your subscription if you wish to stream The Suicide Squad from the comfort of your home.
