Rush Hour 2 is a movie filled with some loved action sequences. The team-up between Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker is one that fans could not get over. With so much going on in the film itself, the idea of there to be more than meets the eye is interesting to see. Drunk tourists had gotten into some beef with a cab driver and they were chasing each other without any care of their environment. They ended up crashing the set as they drove through it, putting a majority of the cast and crew in harm’s way. Luckily no one got hurt or injured. Filming of Rush Hour 2 Had to Be Paused by the FBI
That was not the only time the people filming Rush Hour 2 faced a problem. As they were progressing with the movie, fake dollar bills were used that had the words, ‘In Dog We Trust,’ written on them to mark them aside from real dollar bills. However, many extras took a load of bills, spending them in casinos. According to IMDb, this became such a hassle that various casinos had these fake bills circulating without realization.
Production of the movie was forced to be paused by the FBI as they investigated the entire situation. They further began questioning the props department to make sure that the Counterfeit Deterrence Act of 1992 was not violated while the film was being made.
