I got a friend of mine on railpictures.net, John Witthouse or and he has this to say.

"Sure, they may be strict about the requirments, but its all for the good. The owner says that its to HELP people improve their photography and photo editing skills"

also, sd60, those photos are clearly not railpictures.net quality. The sky is overcast, the photos are to dark, the trains are slightly blurred, and one of them even has a telphone pole in front of the train.

May I suggest that you look at other pictures on railpictures.net? Look at the lighting of the image, the angle that its shot at, and even clearity of the image. Now I am not critizing (spelling) you but try to improve your skills and get a photo editing program for your computer. As you continue to experiment around with your images, your skills will be better.

As for those two images, they are not even worth trying to post. even if everything was like other rp.net photos, they would still be rejected for the following reason
"common power on an overcast day"

Try improving your skills, your photos do have some potential, but the angels are all to common.

I don't have to worry about rp.net submissions, as I shoot strictly video. I don't have to worry about the sky or anything like that.

Best wishes and hope you get it!
