Hiroshima Toyo Carp will welcome the Hanshin Tigers to the Mazda Stadium for another round of NPB action. Hiroshima has an overall season record of 43-44 and comes into this game on the back of a 10-5 win over the Yomiuri Giants. Their offence was top-notch in the last game as they hit 10 runs with Adam Walker and Sho Nakata driving in two RBI’s each. Yuki Takahashi and Yuhei Takanashi had two strikeouts as they ran out comfortable winners.
On the other hand, the Hanshin Tigers have an overall season record of 42-45 and come into this game on the back of a 3-1 win over the Chunichi Dragons. Teruaki Sato drove in two RBI’s and Joe Gunkel had four strikeouts in what was an impressive outing for the Tigers. They will need to muster up all their best strategies to come up trumps over Hiroshima.
