Jake Paul's betting company employee Derek Sullivan managed to seriously annoy Nate Diaz at their press conference on Tuesday.

The Betr representative attended the media event as part of Paul's team, but was able to get hold of the press microphone to ask a question.

He began: "Hey guys, Derek from Betr media here, my question is for Nate.

"Nate, I'm actually a boxer myself and I've been trying to get on to this undercard.

"I am just wondering if you think I could fight your brother Nick.

"If he's anything like you, I think I'd beat his f***ing ass."

This caused a shock among the other media members.

Host Ariel Helwani remarked: "Not very respectful."

Then Diaz replied: "Brother, are you just gonna walk around the streets or some s***?

"You know my homeboys see you right now.

"That was pretty stupid, huh?"

After this implied threat, Sullivan responded: "Yeah I'm definitely pretty nervous right now."

Diaz added: "Yeah, that was stupid. What's your name."

Sullivan answered: "I'm Derek from Betr media."

To which Diaz concluded: "Hey Derek, Betr media, stupid-ass motherf***er. What the f***? You need to have your ass whooped."

At this point Paul, who had been laughing through the exchange, interrupted.

He said: "He works for my company. I'll handle that later, I'll fire him. I'm sorry about that Nate. Derek, shut up."

The pair will fight on August 5 in Dallas.
