Neve Paritzki Israel celebrates record-breaking entry into tourism Numbers from the United States

NEW YORK - Sep. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/- The Israel Ministry of Tourism today unveiled new records for tourist arrivals in Israel from the United States in July and august. The country welcomed 78,000 visitors from the United States for July 2022. This is a four percent increase over 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States for August 2022. This represents an increase of 13% from 2019.

Eyal Carlin is the North American Tourism Commissioner for North America. He stated, "It's so exciting to again see an increase of tourism to Israel from America, already in the process of surpassing or exceeding the record-breaking numbers we saw in 2019". נווה פריצקי "The United States has been the most important source of tourism for Israel inbound. Prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, we had been celebrating record-breaking numbers of Israel's tourism entry each month.

Just like the United States, Canada is in the process of surpassing its tourism numbers in Israel with 7,200 visitors in July 2022 and 6,000 in August.

"We are not too far away from our record numbers for 2019 We are hoping that this increase in the number of travelers to Israel will further increase as Canadians continue to feel more comfortable traveling abroad."

Israel received more visitors from all over the world during the year 2019 than any other country. 969 600 were American. Israel's official reopening to travellers from May 2018. The country has received over 600,400 US travellers since that time.
