Mountains receive over a foot of snow in weekend winter storm – WSOC TV

BOONE, N.C. — More than a foot of snow has already fallen Sunday morning in Boone, North Carolina and snow continues to fall in the area.

A Channel 9 crew witnessed a car get stuck trying to turn around in the parking lot of a hotel, but a group of good Samaritans helped shovel the car out so it could be pulled out by a larger car.
