Motocaddy Flashing L | Golf Monthly

I have a Motocaddy S1 later model. In a stationary position when I rotate the speed dial I get a flashing L error on the display. I have to disconnect the lithium battery and reconnect to clear the fault. The LED display and rotary switch have been replaced but the error still persists
