If you’ve just attempted to play MLB The Show 22 and realised the servers are offline, there’s no need to panic. San Diego Studio has confirmed a fresh server maintenance update today, which means the game will be briefly unplayable.
With Title Update #7 only being deployed just last week, fans shouldn’t expect any big changes with today’s server maintenance. But, if you’re eager to find out more, here’s everything you need to know about the MLB The Show 22 downtime schedule for Wednesday, June 8.

MLB The Show 22 Offline For Scheduled Server Maintenance
As confirmed via the official MLB The Show Twitter account, server maintenance will be scheduled for Wednesday, June 8th, 2022. Players have been prompted to complete all games before downtime, as servers will be brought offline at 4AM PT / 7AM ET / 12PM BST, with the exact duration of the downtime currently unconfirmed.
However, previous maintenance durations have been known to last between 1 and 2 hours. During this time, fans will be able to play any online games of MLB The Show 22.
The good news though, there won’t be a new patch to download once maintenance has been completed. Any changes or fixes being implemented are expected to be made server-side instead of client-side. It was only just last week that Title Update #7 for MLB The Show 22 was deployed, which included a list of bug fixes and improvements to the likes of Stadium Creator, UI, general gameplay, and more.
Make sure to keep an eye on the official MLB The Show Twitter account for updates on the planned server maintenance.
Server maintenance is scheduled for 4 AM PT on 6/8/22 in #MLBTheShow 22.
Please complete all games prior to that time.
Thank you.
