Homa competed in 27 tournaments during the 2015 PGA Tour season. He earned  $380,339 after making his 12 cuts. Because of his poor performance in the FedEx Cup, he was removed from the tour. After starting the 2016 Web.com Tour season seven shots behind, Homa won the Rust-Oleum Championship in Ivanhoe, Illinois. This helped him to earn his PGA Tour Card for the next 2016–17 season.

At the 2020 Fortinet Championship, Homa got the title, secured his victory on the PGA Tour, and finished at 16-under-par. Max Homa won by two strokes by two strokes, winning his sixth PGA TOUR event in 2023 at Torrey Pines with a score of 68-70-71-66 (13 under par).

His 5 milestones include the Genesis Invitational, Well Fargo in 2020, Fortinet Championship, and Fortinet Championship. In the 2022 Presidents Cup, he played four matches for Team USA and won them all. Homa won the Farmers Insurance Open in January of 2023.
