What Happened Previously On Mashle: Magic And Muscles?
The episode started with Lance and Wirth confronting each other. Lance attacked using his Graviole magic, but Wirth escaped underground using his Mud magic. Lance's attacks continued, only to be ineffective. During the battle, Wirth offered Lance a chance to join the lower ranks of Magia Lupus, but Lance refused and berated him. After Wirth realized that Lance had been overpowering him, he drank a solution to boost his magical power and summoned a mud demon using advanced magic.
Lance didn't step back to show his true power either and summoned a few torture poles that surrounded Wirth's mud monster. Using the pillars, he exerted strong gravitational forces, tearing apart the demon. Wirth was shocked by his defeat and remembered his father's disbelief in him. Lance handed Wirth a book he had found, initiating a discussion about their respective views on worth. Despite disliking Wirth's demeanor, Lance acknowledged his effort and departed.
Meanwhile, Mash faced off against Abyss, and the latter overpowered the former using some fascinating tricks. However, Mash remained undeterred as Abyss told him about the condition Lemon was currently in. As the battle progressed, Mash grabbed Abyss and delivered a powerful headbutt, shattering his mask.
Mash discovered Abyss's Evil Eye, which temporarily disabled magic. Abyss shared his life of fear and disdain, revealing how his family hated him and even tried to murder him. Abyss set up a force field, which give him the advantage of increased speed while slowing down others. Despite Mash's slower movements, he broke Abyss's sword and defeated him using several continuous attacks. Mash then offered his friendship to Abyss. However, he considered it impossible due to his cursed eye. Despite Abyss' warning, Mash remained resolute, vowing to defeat Abel, and left, suggesting they enjoy cream puffs together someday.
