MacDill Air Fest returns in March

The MacDill AirFest is on schedule to return March 19 and 20 at the Air Force base with the Thunderbirds.
The event also will have the Air Force Flight Demonstration Squadron, aerial performances by military and civilian aviators, static aircraft on display including many of the Department of Defense's cargo, fighter and special purpose aircraft.
It will be the first time the event has been held in two years. Federal budget cuts forced the event's cancelation in 2013. A slimmed down show was held in 2014 and bringing it back wasn't even considered in 2015, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
