What’s a dating or relationship rule you think is bullshit?

I’m gonna say settling. A lot of times I see my friends putting up with shit because they think that all people are like, that all people aren't romantic, so like, I gotta just go with what I got. And I'm like, “Nah, fuck that.” You gotta wait for someone really special out there that is willing to take you out and willing to treat you right and pamper you and love you unconditionally.

Do you believe in astrology?

I do. Yeah. I’m a triple Gemini. 

I’m a Gemini too. 

I love Geminis. We get a bad rap, but I think we're so fun. And we’re really romantic, weirdly. And we’re a little bit stubborn, but we’re fun.

What’s the most romantic thing you’ve ever done?

Can I say something I’m about to do for Valentine’s Day? For my partner, I’m surprising them with a private chef. And picking them up from the airport, which I think is, like, the most romantic thing anyone could do for somebody. Actually, I’m going to change my answer to picking [my partner] up from the airport is the most romantic thing I’ve ever done. If you go into LAX and wait in traffic for somebody that you love, that is fucking true love.

Fill in the blank: I love when my partner…

I love when my partner tells me they’re needy, and admits to being needy or admits to being jealous or admits to like, character flaws. When you admit to it and own it, it’s so hot to me.

What’s your character flaw?

I think, sometimes, I can get very defensive in a way. If I’m being called out for something, people are usually right. At first, I get very, like, “That’s not true,” or I try to come up with some bullshit reason. But then after five minutes, and I sit with it, I’m like, “Damn, they’re right.” So maybe it’s just that I have impulsivity when responding to criticism.

Hate to say it, but that sounds very Gemini.

It’s a very Gemini thing. I’ve dated a Gemini, and fuck, the both of us together, we’re like, “Oh, I would never do that!”

You and I would never work. 

Well, maybe it’d be the most beautiful thing in the world because there’d be four people in the relationship instead of two.
