A young Nigerian lady has finally hung her house-hunting boots in celebration after securing an apartment in Lagos with a rent of ₦800,000 per annum.

Via a video posted on TikTok handle @blissart01, the lady revealed that she had been searching for accommodation for two months before finally landing this one in Ogba area of Lagos.

The video shows the apartment situated in a well-kept compound and has a bedroom, a living room, a well-spaced kitchen and two bathrooms; one for the bedroom and the other for guests, all for the sum of eight hundred thousand naira yearly.

And while the amount might be mind-boggling to some, according to the lady, the apartment was even relatively better compared to other housing options in the state.

According to @Fisayo_TWF, “Lagos real estate is just a big scam sha”, and Sunkanmi Balogun agreed, saying, “That’s what I’m paying for a room in Lekki excluding service charge so ma’am ignore the comment section it’s cheap!!!! Kemisola Obe also added, “All I can say is congratulations to you, many others are not even close to this standard.”
