‘King and queen’: Reactions as Wizkid, Tems win 2023 NAACP Image Awards

Nigerians have reacted to the news of African stars, Ayodeji Balogun and Temilade Openiyi, known as Wizkid and Tems respectively, winning the 2023 National Association for the Advancement of Coloured People (NAACP) Image Awards.
Wizkid won the Outstanding Collaboration (Contemporary) category for his feature on Chris Brown’s “Call Me Everyday”, while Tems was given the award for the Outstanding International Song category for “No Woman No Cry.”
The 2023 edition of the NAACP Image Awards, which was held virtually to celebrate black excellence in art and entertainment, announced their winners on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, via their Twitter page.
