Joe Rogan can’t stop taking a dig at the internet fitness charlatan, Liver King. The UFC commentator, reacting to Hollywood superstar, Zac Efron’s latest physique made a sly jibe at his “natty” status. Rogan was stunned by Efron’s look to play a member of the historical Von Erich wrestling family.
Recently, Joe Rogan did not hold back his stance on steroids and their uses. On his popular podcast, the UFC commentator has not been afraid to call out influencers and athletes who claim “natural” when they in reality look very much under the influence of steroids. The podcast host also took shots at the influencer Liver King, who claimed have not touched steroids for many years but recently got exposed.
Talking about Zac Efron’s jacked physique to play Kevin Von Erich, a popular wrestler, Rogan joked about the actor’s steroid use. “Look how jacked he is. Jesus Christ, the hair’s perfect, and he looks awesome. Totally natural by the way. Definitely. Just eating raw liver,” said Rogan on Efron’s body.
Though the Liver King has come out apologizing for his lies on steroid use, Rogan seems to have not forgiven the influencer for his lies. Rogan has never condemned people who use steroids to build their physiques. The UFC commentator only seems to have gotten upset by people falsely claiming their steroid use and fooling the general public. Watch the podcast episode below:
Joe Rogan is very honest about the “steroid epidemic” in MMA
The UFC commentator has been working with the promotion for more than two decades now. He has seen the ups and downs of the sport. Rogan is an MMA connoisseur and was very aware of the number of fighters who were on steroids in the past. “The UFC and MMA in general is a steroid epidemic,” said Rogan on his podcast back in 2015.
Before the introduction of USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency), UFC and MMA fighters were notorious for being enhanced by steroids to improve their performances. “It’s one of the things fighters have been saying for a long time, that everyone is on steroids or a huge percentage,” added Rogan in this podcast episode. He also called out superstar Conor McGregor recently for possibly using steroids.
