Pokemon GO’s biggest celebration is here and retains many of the features that made last year’s GO Fest so exciting.

Of course, the ability to play from home, rather than a real-world location is number one, but the rotating spawns and different biome-related hours kept 2020’s event feeling fresh.

Each hour represented a different locale and therefore, players were greeted with a bunch of different, exciting spawns and this year is no different as Niantic has confirmed there will be a total of four different locations.

Each of the biomes will rotate twice across the eight hours that represent Day One. So with that in mind, here are all of the GO Fest spawns for Day One in the Jungle, Desert Mountain, Ocean Beach, Cave biomes.

Jungle

The jungle biome is, as you’d expect, full of Pokemon that you’d find in a jungle.

That means, during these hours, expect to find plenty of Grass-type Spawns during GO Fest. Here are all of the spawns we know:

  • Aipom
  • Chespin
  • Chimchar
  • Croagunk
  • Ekans
  • Froakie
  • Lotad
  • Scyther
  • Slakoth
  • Snivy
  • Tangela

The following Pokemon will also be attracted to Incense:

  • Chatot
  • Leafeon
  • Ludicolo
  • Serperior
  • Unown F
  • Unown G

Desert Mountain

The Desert Mountain location kind of kills two birds with one stone, meaning both desert-dwelling Pokemon and mountain-loving ones are going to appear.

You can expect to find:

  • Alolan Geodude
  • Aron
  • Cacnea
  • Fennekin
  • Growlithe
  • Hippopotas
  • Shieldon
  • Skarmory
  • Skorupi

And attracted to Incense will be:

  • Flareon
  • Flygon
  • Throh
  • Tyranitar
  • Unown F
  • Unown G

Pokémon Highlight: Tyranitar

A Tyranitar is so overwhelmingly powerful, it can bring down a whole mountain to make its nest. This type of power coupled with a high Defense stat makes Tyranitar a force to be reckoned with in the Master League. 🥊 #GOBattle

Ocean Beach

More closely related than a mountain and desert is the Ocean Beach biome.

You can expect to find the following GO Fest Spawns in the wild:

  • Alomomola
  • Carvanaha
  • Chinchou
  • Feebas
  • Magikarp
  • Marill
  • Dratini
  • Swablu
  • Tympole
  • Tynamo
  • Wailmer

Then the following Pokemon will be attracted to Incense:

  • Azumarill
  • Gyarados
  • Sawk
  • Unown F
  • Unown G
  • Vaporeon

Trainers, if you reach level 40 before Thursday, December 31, 2020, at 11:59 p.m. local time, you’ll receive some neat rewards, like the Legacy 40 medal and Timed Research that rewards the exclusive Gyarados Hat avatar item!

Cave

The final biome of the day is the Cave and you can certainly expect a few Zubat.

Instead, you’ll find:

  • Beldum
  • Deino
  • Galarian Stunfisk
  • Gligar
  • Joltik
  • Ralts
  • Roggenrolla
  • Sableye
  • Woobat
  • Vanillite
  • Zubat

Alongside the following, which will be attracted to Incense:

  • Absol
  • Galvantula
  • Gardevoir
  • Umbreon
  • Unown F
  • Unown G

It’s been said that when Umbreon is exposed to the moon’s aura, the rings on its body glow faintly and it gains a mysterious power. I wonder what happens when a Pikachu wearing an Umbreon hat is exposed to moonlight… ⚫⚡ + 🌕 = ?

Those Pokemon are:

  • Audino
  • Chimecho
  • Costumed Pikachu
  • Kricketot
  • Tympole
  • Whismur
