Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 237 Summary
In the latest chapter of the story, a new player enters the battlefield named Kashimo. He’s standing on a big chunk of ice, and he’s known as “ICE STAR, URAUMEEE!!” But there’s another arrival – Hakari Kinji challenges Uraume, saying he made a promise that he can’t let Uraume live. Hakari opens his domain, and Uraume activates ‘Ice Formation’ against him. Even though Hakari’s domain captures Urauame, the ice keeps falling. Eventually, it evaporates, and Kashimo realizes that all of this was to deliver something to Sukuna. It’s a Cursed Weapon called “KAMUTOKE,” created by Yorozu in exchange for a binding vow of death.
Sukuna, with his cursed weapon, launches an electric attack on Kashimo, reminiscing about “good old times.” However, Kashimo’s cursed energy has made him resistant to electricity. Kashimo questions Sukuna about whether he became the strongest or was born that way and how he interacted with others. He talks about his struggle to show affection or mercy, just like he couldn’t. Kashimo wants to learn from Sukuna if strength means being alone and whether it’s a punishment for the strong. Sukuna calls Kashimo extravagant and challenges him to a fight.
The battle between Kashimo and Sukuna begins, with Kashimo using his staff to attack. Sukuna blocks it with his weapon. Kashimo then activates his Cursed Technique, “GENJU KOHASAKU,” which enhances his abilities and allows him to blast attacks made from his cursed energy. He manages to land punches on Sukuna, but there’s a catch – using this technique pushes his body beyond its limits, and once it ends, his body will break.
The narrator reveals that Sukuna had a method to revive his original body only once without using RCT, but he intentionally stopped it. Now, the OG RYOMEN SUKUNA is back, and the transformation of reincarnation has been restarted. This chapter ends with this intriguing development, and there won’t be a break next week.
