Originally, chapter 178 was set for a release on Monday, March 14th, JST, but due to the current poor health of the writer, Gege Akutami, the chapter has now been delayed.

The new chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen will now release on Friday, March 18th, 2022, or Saturday, March 19th, 2022, depending on your location.
Chapter 178 will follow the time schedule as follow.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 178 Spoilers
The new chapter is titled Sendai Colony 5, and it is going to be a lot interesting for the fans. Finally, Yuta summons Rika, who looks like a demon. She is filled with curse energy and cursed technique, and Yuta and Rika are connected to each other with the ring that Yuta is wearing. With the help of this ring, Yuta can fully utilize the powers of Rika.
The fight begins, and Yuta attacks Uro with his Inumaki Cursed Speach Technique. Yuta says “Love,” after which Rika blocks Ryu’s attack, which hurts her, so she punches him hard. Yuta and Uro are engaged in a fight, and he invokes something from his hair, after which Uro says that Fujiwara always comes in her way. She still thinks they are Yuta’s ancestors.
Uro is then attacked by the Shikigami curse, which turns out to be Dhruv’s. Then she realizes that Yuta’s curse technique is a copy. Yuta replies to Uro by saying that he doesn’t know what his ancestors have done to her, but the time will come when everyone will only live for themselves. Hearing Yuta, Uro replies that people who are already someone will say such things. Finally, the chapter ends with all three calling their Domain Expansion.

In the previous chapter, we saw Ryu remembering his past life and telling Yuta that he used to be a moderate eater, meet a lot of women, and fight good opponents. But then he started feeling the void and got no satisfaction from those things anymore.

The two start to fight, and Ryu compliments Yuta by saying that he is like a water tank who can easily take and absorb his attacks. Yuta knows about Ryu’s potential and knows that he will get injured if he doesn’t guard well. Ryu attacks Yuta and tells him that he has this void because he isn’t satisfied. Ryu comes to attack Yuta again and uses his Granite Cannon attack. But Yuta deflects his attack with his hands and smashes Ryu on the ground.
Takako appears from nowhere and uses her ice attack. Ryu is furious at her for poking her nose in an interesting fight, after which he attacks her. But Takako diverts his attack back at him. Yuta is injured, but he uses his cursed energy to recover, and both Takako and Ryu are impressed by it. But Ryu knows that using his power every time will soon wear him out. Knowing that Takako only fights sorcerers out of pride, and Ryu doesn’t target ordinary people, Yuta summons Rika to fight by his side.
