Netflix recently dropped the first season of Welcome to Eden, and fans wonder if Netflix has confirmed Season 2 of the Spanish television series.
Welcome to Eden is a new Thriller series that premiered worldwide on May 6th, 2022. The Spanish series revolves around a group of teenagers who are stuck on a remote island where a cult known as Eden controls everything. People at Eden entice people from the outside world to visit their island by inviting them to a spectacular party. They invite over 100 people to the party and choose the five best candidates for their cult.
The founders of Eden manipulate these teenagers into becoming a part of their group through various means. If emotional tactics don’t work, they force them to stay by giving them death threats. And, of course, they kill anyone who tries to escape the island.
Season 1 of Welcome to Eden establishes a good story with a fantastic performance from the cast. But after the first season, fans want to know if the show will return with a new installment.

Welcome to Eden Season 2 Isn’t Confirmed Yet
When writing this post, Netflix hasn’t officially confirmed season 2 of Welcome to Eden. However, it’s only been two days since the show’s premiere on the streaming platform. So, we’ll have to wait a couple of months for the creators to make an announcement.
Generally, Netflix takes a show’s performance into account before renewing it for another season. While we can’t say how many viewers tuned in to watch Season 1 of Welcome to Eden, the show isn’t sitting well on IMDB. The first season is currently sitting at a rating of 4.9/10, which isn’t a good rating. That said, there are several fans who enjoyed the show for its unique touch on a survival story.
Highly recommend Welcome to Eden on Netflix, but I’m super annoyed that they’ve left me hanging like this. Season 2 better hurry up and get here ASAP!!! #Netflix #WelcomeToEden

The show’s first season ended on a cliffhanger, so it’s safe to assume that the writers plan to continue the series for at least one more season. We still have to find out if Zoa and the other new members can escape the island, especially now that Zoa’s sister, Gaby, has arrived on Eden.
However, the decision to renew the series is solely at the hands of Netflix, which might consider the first season’s performance before giving a green light on season 2.
