Pokemon Go is live with another set of events for June, and fans are having a great time in the game. Niantic is one of the most active developers out there, and it regularly releases updates for Pokemon Go. These updates give players a chance to earn a plethora of rewards by completing tasks, challenges, and much more.

For the month of June, we have quite a few events lined up. The month started with a number of raids, followed by the Gible Community Day which gave players a chance to catch a Shiny Gible. Recently, A Very Slow Discovery also concluded in the game, which was focused around Slowpoke, Slowbro and Slowking.

Is there a Shiny Slowpoke in Pokemon Go? – June Spotlight Hour 2021

For the third week of June, we have Slowpoke as the featured Pokemon. This is quite surprising given that Slowpoke was recently a part of the A Slow Discovery which concluded a couple of days ago. So what does Slowpoke’s inclusion in the Spotlight Hour mean?

Basically, players will witness an increased spawn rate of Slowpoke on Tuesday June 15, between 6pm and 7pm local time. So if you are looking to add a Slowpoke to your collection, this is probably the best time to go on a Slowpoke hunt.

One of the questions players have during each Spotlight Hour is whether the Shiny variant of the Pokemon will be available or not. The good news is, Shiny Slowpoke is available in Pokemon Go. Differentiating between a Slowpoke and its shiny variant is a tad tricky, as there is not much difference in appearance. The Shiny variant has a lighter shade of pink, and that’s pretty much it.
