Miles Bridges has got himself in some serious trouble and can soon end up in prison as he has charges of felony domestic violence on his head. He got arrested on June 29th and was released a day after on bail for a $130,000 bond. But soon the charges were filed and things for him were ruined. As his girlfriend, Mychelle Johnson who is also the mother of his children posted images of the injuries she got due to Miles Bridges in a violent attack by the forward. This acted as solid evidence against the Hornets’ star and the feds took action against him as he had to turn himself in.

On Tuesday, last week it was also revealed that apart from the domestic violence charges on his head, some additional charges have also been filed against him. According to TMZ Sports, Miles Bridges has also got himself listed for “one felony count of injuring a child’s parent and two felony counts of child abuse under circumstances or conditions likely to cause great bodily injury or death.” This is surely the downfall of Miles Bridges. As even the L.A. District Attorney George Gascón has vowed to hold him accountable for his dirty actions.

The Charlotte Hornets have released a statement regarding the whole situation since the news for the charges on Miles Bridges’ head was out. The Hornets released the following statement: “We are aware of the charges that were filed today against Miles Bridges. These are very serious charges that we will continue to monitor. As this is a legal matter, we will have no further comment at this time.”

Miles Bridges just had so far the best season of his career where he averaged 20.2 points, 7 rebounds, and 3.8 assists. He was also about to sign his MAX extension this off-season and get himself a well-deserved bag for the on-court greats. But he got arrested just before the free agency and now is listed as a restricted free agent. The Charlotte Hornets surely want him back as they’ll be waiting on the final judgement regarding his future. If Miles Bridges is convicted he will be booked for years and that will also mark the end of his NBA career. As league takes such allegations seriously and will punish him with an unwanted price to pay. The talent will be lost and washed but again it’s all his fault and justice should be served to the innocents.

These young new players should get some guidance from the veterans. They have an opportunity with their talent and don't need to blow it. If you need help, ask someone. Don't raise your hand to no one.

So basically they went "yeah, we know, ok?"

No one going to write an article or do a story on this with any opinions?

I understand due process, but there’s enough there that the team should’ve rescinded the QO while they could. The Hornets shouldn’t roster any player fans should be ashamed to cheer for. I hope he gets help and especially hope his kid and wife are okay.

Statement would have been fine…a day or two after it happened. Who is handling there comms bc they need to get a new job

What’s the point of a statement if you’re going to say nothing…

I really think the Hornets ride the PR nightmare wave with this one. Not like the Hornets ever cared about fans in the first place. I think they will wait until he is punished by law until they make a move.
