Despite being 80, Harrison Ford is still capable of pulling off exhausting sequences in movies, and according to his Indiana Jones 5 costar Mads Mikkelsen, Ford is a beast on the sets. With the new Indiana Jones flick marking the end of Ford’s journey as the Daredevil archaeologist, Ford didn’t compromise when it came to giving his 100% for his last ride in the shoes of Indiana Jones.

This resulted in the Star Wars star going shirtless for the fifth installment in the beloved franchise. Opening up about going shirtless for the movie at the age of 80, Ford had a wholesome response on the matter.

Harrison Ford feels blessed with his body

Just like younger days, Harrison Ford still carries the same charm and doesn’t fail from grabbing viewers’ attention whenever he is onscreen. Even though the actor might not be in his prime physical condition, surprisingly he still bears a pretty solid physique and fans will be able to witness that in Indiana Jones 5. While reflecting on the matter of going shirtless for the movie, which showcases the Star Wars star’s impressive physique, Ford responded by stating he is blessed with his body and is thankful that people noticed it. The actor stated,

“Look, I’ve been blessed with this body. Thanks for noticing.”

Indiana Jones producer Kathleen Kennedy would too tune in with the actor when it came to Ford’s physique, as she complimented the actor by stating that he is still “very hot”. Considering throughout his career, the actor has found himself in several action flicks, it’s extremely impressive that Ford still remains fit, proving that age is just a number for the actor.

Harrison Ford defends de-aging technology used in Indiana Jones 5

Defending the de-aging technology that is used in the fifth installment of the franchise, Harrison Ford claimed this technology supports the story that they’re trying to tell with the film. The Star Wars star seems to be extremely pleased by the end product and is happy with how skillfully the technology was used, as it perfectly represents his younger self. Ford explained,

“It’s not photoshop magic. That’s what I looked like 35 years ago. [De-aging technology] is just a trick unless it’s supported by story. I think it was used very skillfully. I’m very happy with it.”
