The founder of the Living Faith church aka Winner’s Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, has revealed to members that he is the richest Pastor on earth.

Bishop, as he’s fondly called, made this statement on Friday, August 12, during the 2022 International Youth Alive Convention tagged “Destined for Dominion” held at his church auditorium in Ota, Ogun state.

He said the last time he collected a salary was in 1987, yet God has sustained him.

Oydepo added that Christianity is a far superior cult to any other principalities and powers on earth and charged members that they should allow Christ to have His hold on their lives, maintaining that no cult is superior to the Christian faith.

He said,

Before you join a cult, let Christ have His hold on your life. Give Him His place. Can anybody now ask me to join a cult? Even when I was growing up, they can’t do it. A cult? Which cult?

He added that a Christian’s love for God is the seal of their dominion and that dominion is far from those not walking in love.

“We belong to a superior cult, far above all principalities and powers. If you are not in love, dominion will be theoretical. It is your love for God that is a seal of your dominion on the Earth. You are not in love; you are not a candidate; forget it,” he said.

The man of GOD alluded to claims that he’s the richest pastor in the world, saying he never borrowed, never begged, and never lacked.

He added that his ministry has produced many books translated into several languages and receives royalties from sales of such books.

He said,

We have our books now being published by different languages around the world at no charge to us, and yet they send us royalties. Have I ever taken a dime from books in my life? Never! To be blessed is the purpose. And yet it sells in millions and multimillions every year.”

However, the presiding bishop also warned members that cutting corners and a fraudulent lifestyle is not the way to live.

All these corner corner life is not the way to live. And yet they say the richest pastor in the world is this short man, and they are not lying because somebody never borrowed, never begged, and never lacked. Then what does it mean to be rich? Never one day announcement that gets people jittery? And always giving and giving? Then who is a wealthy man? You better wake up,” he said.

Economy Is Bad, Stop Giving God Only 10% Tithes – Pastor Agochukwu Tells Nigerians

Meanwhile, a Nigerian Pastor, Evangelist Gosple Agochukwu, urged Christians in Nigeria to increase the tithes they pay to God.

The Imo-state-born cleric cited the economic downturns and the hike in prices of goods as justification for people to increase their tithes.

He stated that he has taken the lead and now pays 70% of his earnings as tithes instead of the recommended 10%.
