Four years ago, France clinched the FIFA World Cup in Russia, and one TikTok user, who alleges to be a ‘time traveler,‘ has predicted that they will return to the final in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The TikTok user @worldcuptimetraveller has been posting full-game video clips from television that they argue were captured in the future.
A time-traveling TikToker claims to know the outcome of the World Cup final, which will happen on December 18. The ‘World Cup Time Traveller’ predicts that Brazil will defeat France 2-1 at the Lusail Stadium to clinch their sixth world championship, which is bad news for England fans.
The anonymous user is another TikTok user who makes futuristic claims. This self-claimed time traveler, however, has predicted a count of accurate predictions in history, including England’s 4-0 victory over Ukraine at Euro 2020, unlike most of these self-proclaimed time travelers.
The time traveler is betting on Marquinhos to score first in the 2022 FIFA World Cup final game before Antoine Griezmann scores an equalizer just before halftime. Then, late in regular time, Richarlison scores the winning goal to shock the French and end Brazil’s 20-year World Cup drought, according to The Sun.
Fans point out 2022 FIFA World Cup self proclaimed time traveler’s mistakes
Regarding a video they created for the Euro 2020 final, the user inserted in the caption that they were “helping you out like last year.” Even though they were more suspicious about the “time travelers”‘ statements, many were wowed by their editorial abilities. One TikTok user pointed out that some of the clips are from Brazil’s 2-0 victory over Serbia, casting doubt on the time traveler’s claim.
The majority of the video consists of player and fan celebrations, with very little actual goal footage. Additionally, there is no video of Brazil winning the eagerly anticipated sixth World Cup. Some TikTok experts think that some accounts produce multiple prediction videos with various scores and retain them in private till the game is played. The appropriate prediction can then be promoted with an old date stamp after all the incorrect ones have been deleted.
