How to Read the New One-Shot

Thousands of fans are hyped for the release of the upcoming ‘Chainsaw Man’ anime series and to tide them over until its release, author Tatsuki Fujimoto has released a 1-shot manga.

Since the Chainsaw Man manga series has been on a break in 2020 – don’t worry, it will return – fans have been wondering what Fujimoto has been up to. Well, now we know that the popular author has been working on a One-Shot manga.

The Japanese comic book is titled ‘Look Back’ and features 142 pages of raw Fujimoto brilliance. The manga debuted on Monday, 19th July 2021 and now everyone is dying to get their hands on it.

How to read the ‘Look Back’ One-Shot!

Look Back is currently available to read on the Shonen Jump+ official website where it was first published in Japan. Alternatively, international fans are able to read the manga on Viz where it was released on 18th July 2021 and is also available for free.

The premise follows a young woman named Fujino who draws manga strips for her school newspaper which, in turn, garners her popularity. One day she is told that a recluse student named Kyomoto wants to submit a manga and this occurrence changes both of their lives forever.

Read the Chainsaw man manga series!

For fans who want to recap or even read it for the first time, the Chainsaw Man manga series has 97 chapters and are available on Viz with the first three chapters available for free.

However, to read the rest of the chapters, you have to join Shonen Jump! for $1.99USD/£1.44GBP a month. You can join a free trial membership for a week, but after this period you will be charged.
