There are many different methods you can use to stock up on Stellar Jade, and we will provide you with all the ones that will give you the most bang for your buck.

Formidable Foes

Occasionally on your travels, you'll come across some enemies that seem a bit more intimidating than others. They'll be in front of a shining, Precious Treasure and upon defeating them, you'll receive around 30 Stellar Jade.

These enemies should be quite easy to find, as they'll be much larger than regular enemies. Also, regular enemies won't be standing in front of any chests, so they'll definitely stick out like a sore thumb. Just take a nice stroll through some of the areas, and you're sure to stumble on a few Formidable Foes.

Warp Trotter

Warp Trotters are a small, round enemy you can find in Honkai Star Rail. However, once they notice you, they will immediately dash away, leaving you behind. When you notice this enemy out in the wild, you'll need to approach them from behind, so they don't see you, or use a character that can utilize their Technique to start a battle from afar.

They're quite easy to defeat, but they are very difficult to find. They don't appear frequently, and when they do, they will often be hiding in a less noticeable spot. You'll usually notice them in areas without many people or other enemies, including the Outlying Snow Plains in Jarilo-VI. After finishing one of these Warp Trotters off, they will drop 60 Stellar Jade.

Missions

Missions will be your main focus in Honkai Star Rail, and luckily they will be one of your best sources for Stellar Jade. There are Trailblaze, Adventure, Companion, and Daily Missions. Each will give a different amount of Stellar Jade, except for Daily Missions which usually only provide Credits.

You'll be able to find Adventure Missions by exploring each region and talking to local people who might need your help. You can get around 30 Stellar Jade out of these. As for Companion and Trailblaze Missions, these will appear as you get further into the story. These missions can grant you up to 80 Stellar Jade alone.

Treasure Chests

Each new area that you explore will have a fixed amount of treasure chests you can find. Open up the map, and just on the top left of the screen will be a chest symbol that will tell you how many are in the area. Treasure Chests can sometimes hold up to 30 Stellar Jade inside.

You will also be able to open up treasure chests after defeating certain enemies, which can provide around 30 Stellar Jade. Make sure to check every nook and cranny in each region for these treasure chests, as they are often in hidden locations.

Simulated Universe

After meeting with Herta, you'll eventually unlock the Simulated Universe, a fictional world where you can practice battling different enemies in worlds created by Herta. The first time you complete a world, you will get 120 Stellar Jade.

Along with this, you will also be able to save up points for each Reward Period. You can rack up a maximum of 3500 points, which will give you at least 75 Stellar Jade in total. There are other rewards you will get from your points as well, including Star Rail Passes, Credits, and more.

Daily Training

Located within your Interastral Guide is Daily Training. This will allow you to complete up to 6 different activities every day, where you can reach a maximum of 500 Activity Points. Each 100 Activity Points you earn will give you around 10 to 15 Stellar Jade, coming out to a total of 60 Stellar Jade daily.

The activities are quite simple, usually including completing a Daily Mission or synthesizing a consumable. As long as you stay on top of this every day that you log in, you should be able to garner a large quantity of Stellar Jade over time.

Operation Briefing

Operation Briefing can also be found within your Interastral Guide. Just like Daily Training, it will require you to complete 5 different activities for each part. After completing all 5, you'll be able to pick up your rewards including 50 Stellar Jade.

As you get farther into Operation Briefing's parts, the activities will become increasingly harder. However, you most likely will have been leveling up and improving your characters over time to where it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Just remember to always focus on completing important missions, leveling up your characters and their Light Cones, and exploring the world around you.

Events

Similar to Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail has limited-time events that trailblazers can participate in to earn rewards. Usually these events will give you highly coveted items, including a large amount of Stellar Jade.

For example, there are a few events introduced in Version 1.0 that will offer Stellar Jade to you. One of these is the Character Trials, which will always be available when new Warp Banners are introduced. This gives you the chance to play with 5-Star and 4-Star characters and test them out, while also providing 20 Stellar Jade per 5-Star character used.

Trailblaze Level Increase

Pom Pom might be a cute and adorable bunny, but they are also useful in providing you with Trailblaze Level rewards. Every time you level up, you'll want to visit Pom Pom on the Astral Express to pick up your goodies.

You won't always get Stellar Jade from each level, but when you do, it'll be around 50 for each level. You'll also get a bunch of Credits, Character EXP materials, Star Rail Passes, and much more. Your Trailblaze Level will naturally increase as you progress through the story and explore new worlds, so don't forget to hop back on the Astral Express to give Pom Pom a visit.

Shopping

Who doesn't love shopping? Especially when you can get rewards in return! When you spend the official currency in each new region at shops, you'll get rewards such as Star Rail Passes and 50 Stellar Jade the more you spend.

Each level will increase the total amount that you will need to spend. For example, Shields are the official currency in Belobog, and as you spend more and more at the shops in this region, you'll be able to pick up your rewards. The local currency can usually be gathered by completing Adventure Missions in the area and exploring.

Achievements

Achievements are an additional method for getting Stellar Jade that will mostly be a passive strategy. You can check the Achievements page on your phone to see what you can do to get these Achievements, but usually you will just find these over time without directly searching for them.

It's a great way to get Stellar Jade without having to actively search for it, as you'll often get an Achievement without expecting it. These can reward up to 20 Stellar Jade per accomplishment.
